NATIONAL ASSEMBLY (NA) REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2026 RED RIVER MÉTIS GOVERNMENT’S NATIONAL ASSEMBLY TAKING PLACE OCTOBER 16th, 17th and 18th, 2026. 

We want to ensure Red River Métis (RRM) Citizens are informed to take the proper steps to register for the upcoming NA! 

PLEASE HAVE YOUR MMF CITIZENSHIP CARD READY WHEN YOU REGISTER. 

If you have applied for your MMF Citizenship card and it is currently in processing, please contact the MMF’s Central Registry Office at 204-586-8474 or via email at citizenship@mmf.mb.ca to assist you with determining your eligibility to register as an RRM Citizen for this year’s National Assembly. 

If you have not applied for your RRM Citizenship card yet, you may still register to attend the NA as an Observer. If you are interested in applying for RRM Citizenship, please contact the MMF’s Central Registry Office at 204-586-8474 or via email at citizenship@mmf.mb.ca for more information. 

REGISTRATION OPTIONS: 

REGIONAL RED RIVER MÉTIS LOCAL DELEGATE REGISTRATION 

A Red River Métis (RRM) NA Local Delegate are those RRM Citizens who have been identified by their Local to attend the National Assembly.  RRM Citizens who have been selected are registered for the NA through their Regional Offices.  If you are a RRM Citizen that has been selected to attend, you are NOT required to register online.

MMF CITIZEN GENERAL DELEGATE REGISTRATION (In-Person or Virtual) 

A Red River Métis Citizen General Delegate are those Red River Métis Citizens who have NOT been registered for NA by their Region and/or Local to attend the National Assembly. 

You must have a RRM Citizenship Card to Register as a RRM Citizen General Delegate. 

For Individuals who DO NOT have a RRM Citizenship Card please see Observer Registration Below or contact the MMF’s Central Registry Office for assistance. 

Registration for the 2026 National Assembly is now open and will close on October 9th, 2026. 

RRM Citizens that would like to register for the NA have two options: 

Please note: If you register for Virtual Attendance and wish to change your registration to In-Person Attendance, you will be required to do so by October 9th, 2026. Please be aware that any requests to change from Virtual to In-Person received after October 9th may not be able to be accommodated. All Virtual participants will be given an individual link to participate and vote and will be required to do Virtual participation for the NA weekend. Once you have received your individual link, that will remain your voting capability through the NA weekend.
