Get ready for Red River Métis family fun at this year’s National Assembly!

On Saturday night, Citizens can enjoy the musical stylings of Red River Métis artists, dancers, and witness a Battle of the Fiddles – where talented Red River Métis fiddlers will go string to string. The lower level of the venue will host games for kids, as well as a rummy and cribbage tournament.

Join us for our annual Evening of Entertainment at the Assiniboia Downs on Saturday, October 17 from 6-10pm for a night of laughter, music, and Red River Métis talent!

CAMP EIRM

We have a jam-packed schedule for the National Assembly weekend!

At Camp EIRM, Citizens can obtain an activity sheet to collect stickers as they participate and complete the following:

Big Buck Hunt Arcade Game (indoors)
Photo Booth (outdoors)
Fishing (outdoors)
Mineral Match-Up (outdoors)
Map of the Homeland (outdoors + virtual)
Recipe Sharing (outdoors)

6th Annual MMF Pickler Classic

Calling all Red River Métis pickle makers – are you up for a DILL-licious challenge

The 6th Annual MMF Pickler Classic is BACK! Break out your best brine and join us at the MMF National Assembly on October 18, 2026.

Registration is first come, first served and limited to 40 participants. Pre-register by contacting Tabitha Park at tabitha.park@mmf.mb.ca.

Only dill pickle entries will be accepted. Jars must have seals that are set. Jars that are not set will be disqualified.
